Greg Chadwick, DDS, MS is Dean of the East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine and has served as Dean since 2012. Formerly he served as Associate Vice Chancellor for Oral Health at ECU where he led the effort to establish the dental school.
Dr. Chadwick, a native of North Carolina, received a B.S. in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After graduating from the UNC School of Dentistry he practiced general dentistry in Community Health Centers in Prospect Hill and Moncure, North Carolina before entering a residency in endodontics. He earned an M.S. in endodontics from the UNC School of Dentistry and subsequently practiced endodontics in his hometown of Charlotte for almost thirty years.
He is a former president of numerous dental organizations including the North Carolina Dental Society and the American Dental Association and currently serves as President-elect of the FDI World Dental Federation.
Dr. Chadwick and his wife, Knox, have two adult children, Stephen who is a Pediatric dentist, and Jane who is a Periodontist.
