Dr. Sutherland is an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto, Canada, and, until recently, Dentist-in-Chief at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, with a practice focused on medically complex patients. She is the Founding and Past President of the Canadian Association of Hospital Dentists, the Dentistry Lead for Choosing Wisely Canada and a member of the Advisory Committee of the AMRNetwork, a project designed to develop plans for a coordinated One Health response to antimicrobial resistance in Canada.
