Tom is a Research Associate in Social and Behavioral Sciences Applied to Dentistry at the University of Sheffield. His background is in social and spatial geography, and in 2017 he completed his doctoral studies on the effects of neighborhood environments on oral health. His range of experiences has influenced his research interests, which include quantitative and spatial analysis of oral health outcomes and inequalities, as well as the use of qualitative data and person-centered approaches.
