Whole Body Health 2.0: From Evidence to ActionThe Whole Body Health (WBH) approach highlights the strong links between oral health and systemic health. In this webinar, experts from FDI’s Whole Body Health Task Team will present updates to the WBH platform and demonstrate how it can be used in daily practice. Participants will explore new interactive features, practical applications, and the role of social and commercial determinants in shaping oral and general health outcomes.
Oral health is integral to overall health. FDI World Dental Federation’s Whole Body Health (WBH) approach brings together evidence linking oral diseases with noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease, while recognising the influence of social and commercial determinants of health.
This webinar will introduce recent developments in the WBH platform and demonstrate how dental practitioners and other health professionals can use it to support prevention, patient education, interprofessional collaboration, and advocacy. The session will also highlight the platform’s alignment with global health agendas, including NCD integration and the WHO Global Oral Health Action Plan, and conclude with a live Q&A.
