Prof. Kasugai is a Professor of Emeritus of Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU). Until 2020, he was a chairman in Department of Oral Implantology and Regenerative Dental Medicine and a director of Dental Implant Clinic in TMDU. He has a strong background in basic sciences, especially bone tissue and biomaterials, together with extensive clinical experiences in dental implant treatments, which makes him an opinion leader in dental implant field.
