Prof. Dr. Rainer Seemann
Prof. Dr. Rainer Seemann, DMD, PhD (Dr. med. dent. habil.), MBA is Vice President Global Clinical Research and acting Chief Clinical Officer at Dentsply Sirona and Professor at the Department of Operative-, Preventive- and Pediatric Dentistry of the University Berne, Switzerland. Dr. Seemann studied Dentistry in Berlin, Germany and worked in several positions at the Dental School of the Charité, Berlin University Clinic, Germany before joining Dentsply Sirona. He finished his PhD (habilitation) in 2006 and holds an MBA in Health Care Management since 2007.
Prof. Juan Pablo Gómez Arango
Dr. Gomez is Associate Professor of Biomechanics and Craniofacial Anomalies at Universidad Autónoma de Manizales, Colombia. He is co-founder and past president of “Fundación Sonríe”, a non-profit comprehensive cleft care team, dedicated to the education, multidisciplinary treatment and support of cleft patients and their families, since 1997. Additionally, he is currently member of Smile Train’s South America Medical Advisory Council (SAMAC) and participant in FDI’s Digital Cleft Care Project. In 2020 he started Craniofacial Anomalies Research Endeavor (Care 3D), a private initiative dedicated to exploring innovative strategies to improve quality and access to comprehensive treatments for craniofacial anomalies.
Prof. Puneet Batra
Dr Puneet Batra is the Professor and Director PG Board of Studies, Manav Rachna Dental College Faridabad, Haryana. He is presently the Editor of the Journal of Indian Orthodontic Society (2018-23). He is the Cleft Orthodontist at Global Hospital and Research Centre Mt Abu Rajasthan and Sant Parmanand Hospital, New Delhi. He is the recipient of the PP Jacob award, JG Kannapan, Commonwealth scholarship at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children London and TC White award in Dundee Dental School Scotland. He is the Past President of the Indian Society of Cleft Lip and Palate and Craniofacial Anomalies 2019-20. He is a member of Smile Train India Advisory Council as well as STRIAC Smile Train Research Innovation Advisory Council.
Dr. Clement Seeballuck
Dr Clement Seeballuck is a Clinical Lecturer in Paediatric Dentistry at Dundee Dental School and Hospital. He graduated from Trinity College Dublin. He is a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery in the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. Clement is interested in educational innovations and is currently undertaking a PhD exploring remote clinical training tools and their evaluation
