Prof. Peter Mossey
Prof. Peter Mossey, is the Associate Dean for Internationalization at University of Dundee Dental School, and Director of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Craniofacial Anomalies. He is the Leader for the Craniofacial Anomalies theme in the WHO Global Burden of Disease (GBD) Birth Defects Initiative. He was appointed Honorary Secretary of the Craniofacial Anomalies Group of the IADR Global Oral Health Inequalities Research Network (GOHIRN) initiative in August 2012. He is also an expert on Smile Train – FDI World Dental Federation project which aims to create oral health and dental care guidelines and training programs for community dentists, cleft teams and families affected by cleft worldwide.
Susannah Schaefer is Executive Vice Chair, President & Chief Executive Officer of Smile Train, an international organization focused on empowering local medical professionals to provide free cleft lip and/or palate surgery and comprehensive cleft care to children globally.
In her role as CEO, she leads Smile Train’s vision to expand access to healthcare and increase local capacity in countries in which Smile Train has programs
Dr. Omolola Orenuga
President of the Nigerian Association of Paediatric Dentistry (NAPD), Paediatric Dentist, University of Lagos. A Public Health Professional and Certified Clinical Research Associate. Involved in undergraduate and postgraduate educational (academic/ clinical) and mentoring commitments at the Faculty level and with professional NGOs. Her research interest has centred around dental anomalies, caries and Oral Health-Related Quality of Life with a recent focus in Oral Health in Cleft Care
Dr. Gerhard Seeberger
Dr Gerhard K. Seeberger is president of FDI World Dental Federation and a private practitioner based in Cagliari, Italy. He is a past-speaker of the FDI General Assembly, former FDI councillor, and past-president of the FDI European Regional Organization. He is also the past-president of AIO (the Italian Dental Association). Dr Seeberger is a committee member for the Guidelines in Implant Dentistry and Periodontology of the Italian Ministry of Health, a member of the Italian Retirement Fund Section Private Practitioners, and a member of numerous scientific societies (implant dentistry, periodontology). He is an established speaker (with over 150 engagements), as well as an author, co-author and peer reviewer in Italian and international journals. He was awarded a doctor honoris causa in medicine from Yerevan State University in Armenia and is an honorary member of several national dental associations (Bulgarian Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, Mexican Dental Association, Romanian Association of Private Practitioners).
Jayant Singh leads GSK Consumer Healthcare’s Oral Health Division, having formerly led its nutrition business, and its operations in Latin America. Prior to joining GSK, Jayant held leadership roles at P&G, Mars, Gillette and Henkel. Jayant and his team believe that mouths should be a source of joy and not pain, and are committed to fighting and eradicating preventable oral health problems.
