Speaker Information
Dr. Anna Lella
Dr Anna Lella, is an FDI Councillor since 2021 and chairperson of the World Oral Health Day (WOHD) Working Group.
She is an active dental practitioner since 1992, running her individual dental practice in Olsztyn, Poland; specialist in the field of periodontology. She is a graduate of e-MBA in coordinated health care.
Dr Lella is engaged in the works of dental organizations in Poland as well as on the international level (the FDI World Dental Federation and its European Regional Organization ERO, as well as the Council of European Dentists CED). She has successfully held key positions at these leading international organizations of dentists.
She advocates integration of oral health into the strategy of general health through prevention, planning and budget, as well as medical positioning of the dental profession following a message: “No general health without oral health”. Dr Lella is an active promotor of WOHD globally as Chair of the FDI WOHD Working Group and specifically in Poland where she has been organizing various events on this occasion, from the very beginning, when WOHD was established.
Ms. Francesca Nava
At the FDI World Dental Federation, Ms Nava serves as the focal point for World Oral Health Day (WOHD) and leads social media initiatives. Since 2021, she has managed the annual WOHD campaign, driving its consistent growth through collaboration with FDI’s Working Group, agencies, and external consultants. Passionate about creating impactful communication strategies that empower individuals and communities to prioritize their health and well-being, Ms Nava has ensured the development of high-quality resources and tactics that reach a global audience while staying current with the latest digital trends.
Ms Nava holds a Master’s degree in Healthcare Communications and Business Administration & Marketing, and has developed her expertise as a communications professional in the public health and nonprofit sector. Among others, her skill set includes digital and social media campaigning, content strategy, data analysis and reporting, digital influencer marketing, and project management.
