Tackling antibiotic resistance—avoiding the next pandemic
Antibiotics are life-saving drugs. An infection that does not respond to antibiotics is known as an antibiotic-resistant infection. This is a global problem which poses a significant threat to health due to prolonged illnesses, longer hospital stays and increased mortality. Dentists and dental teams have an essential role in tackling antibiotic resistance.
This webinar is a preview session for the ADA FDI 2021 World Dental Congress Special Edition. For more information about the event, scientific programme and registration, visit https://2021.world-dental-congress.org/.
